These are just a few activities, set in the beautiful National Parks area of Sigulda, known as ‘The little Switzerland of Latvia’
If these sports and activities are too much of a challenge for you,
try the Cable Car, and enjoy the breath taking views over,
the river Gauja valley.
Cable Car
Visit the splendour of many Castles and caves along the base river gorge. The sky is the limit, a wonderful day out in the picturesque town of Sigulda. Entrance fees and tickets can be obtained prior to the visit.
Latvian Castles
If sight-seeing is your preference then the ‘Old Town’ Riga is the ideal place for you. Explore the history, culture, and architecture through the centuries; visit the many Museums, spend a lazy day seeing Riga at its best.
Good food and entertainment along with the main tourist sights, which has made Latvia an increasingly popular destination for visitors from all over the world.
The restaurants and bars are a plenty, with many nightclubs for the more energetic. Music is a passion of the Latvian people covering a wide spectrum and choice.
Meals out are very reasonably priced and a large selection of both Latvian and other foods of the wider world can be found in the capitol Riga.
The Mc Donald’s are just the same as the UK, but a little cheaper.

Houses a lift taking you to a viewing platform, giving a panoramic view of the ‘Old Town’ the markets can be seen from high up in the sky, but are well worth a visit at ground level.
The markets are the home to five old World War Zeppelin Hangers, meat, fish, fruit, vegetables and general goods and live stock.
Central Markets Riga
Latvia boast’s a coastline second to none, not commercialized in anyway, with beaches and small coastal towns which makes the seaside visit both relaxing and breath-taking. Swim and enjoy the water melons with fresh bread sticks and locally caught smoked fish, sold from carts near the beach what could be finer.
The trains put a different perspective for the coastal tour moving around the Gulf of Riga in a left or right direction, dropping you off at small stations (not stations as we know them) getting off the train into wooded area’s walking through narrow wooded walk ways to discover the wonderful un touched beaches.
